What Others Are Saying
Every now and again, especially when we’re launching a brand new product, we like to take a spin around the blogs and sites to see what others are saying about The Body Shop products. This helps us to get a handle on what you like about our products and what can be improved, because we are always striving to make skin care that is better for our customers, better for the people who make them, and better for the planet.
- The National Post had two noses take a big sniff of the new Moroccan Rose Eau de Toilette and share their thoughts. They called the scent “romantic and surprisingly modern,” which is exactly what we were aiming for! A new, fresh scent. Nose #2 pointed out the hint of musk, attempting to figure out what it was (hint: it’s spicy!).
- Speaking of Moroccan Rose, Joseibi blogged about her excitement about the entire line. She mentioned that the line is in a mid-range price point, so as not to be dismissed for being too cheap, or overlooked for being too expensive. Oh, and trendy! Yes, we did have a lot of fun with the fresh, springtime colors, stepping out of the box a bit to incorporate cool mints, and golden tones.
- Our Body Butter is always popular, known for its powerful moisturizing capabilities, but one reviewer on Reviewstream was quite smitten by our Pink Grapefruit Body Butter. She called the flavor “mouth-watering,” which is completely appropriate, considering that we use all-natural pink grapefruit seed oil to give it that enticingly citrus scent. Delicious!
- I Love Looking Good gave into her blush addiction and decided to give our pretty Cheek Bloom a shot on a whim. She snagged our Desert Rose shade, and we’re happy to report that she loved the color. She like that it gave a subtle, shimmery glow to her naturally tan skin. Natural is what we keep in mind when creating our products, and when real women agree, then we’ve been successful.

Thank you for mentioning me! I love the new Moroccan line and have reviewed the body butter separately. Absolutely loved it and I hope this line will be around forever!
PS. Thank you for not using petrolatum or mineral oil in your body butter! This sets your products apart from so many others!!
