How To Get The Look: Tea Tree Inspired

In honor of the makeover of our Tea Tree Oil skincare line, I’ve created a look inspired by all of those gorgeous greens. This is a smoky green eye look that showcases the rich pigmentation of the green shades in our makeup collection. Give it a try and let me know how it turns out for you!

As always, create a smooth canvass for your makeup by using your favorite foundation and primer. In the hot summer heat, I love the Oil Free Foundation SPF 15 for its matte stay and sun protection. And the Matte It Face & Lips primer helps to keep the vivid greens in place all day long.

Eyes

  • Next take Eye Color Shade 44: Golden Meadow and apply liberally to tear duct area, sweeping it up and over to connect with your lid shade, and also taking it down and underneath the lower lash line.

  • Using the Eyeshadow Blender Brush, carefully apply Eye Color Shade 39: Soft Black to your crease, blending it out gently around the outer corners of your eyes, and bringing it just underneath the lower lash line, as well.
  • Apply Eye Shimmer Shade 08: Emerald just underneath the brow as a highlight. Then apply it to the center of the lid of the eye, just to add a bit of depth to the dark green base shade.

  • Next, with a steady hand, use Liquid Eyeliner Shade 01: Black to carefully line your upper lid. At the outer corner of the eye, flick your wrist slightly upward to create a bit of a cat eye effect.
  • I also used Eye Color Shade 39: Soft Black to line underneath my lower lash line, and then used the Smudger Brush to soften the line a bit.

Face

The rest of the face is quite neutral, which is really the way to go when you’re featuring a smokey eye look.

  • Put a dab of Liquid Lip Color Shade 01: Natural in the center of your lips and press together. This gives you shine without making it look like you have overly active salivary glands!

Final look!
