The Sweet Smells of Fall
The mouthwatering scents of fall! Pumpkin, burning fires, and cinnamon. What’s yours?
Sometimes it can be hard to define, but you know it when you smell it: that scent that lets you know that it’s fall. The crispness that shows up in the morning and evening air, and the smells that have that seasonal appeal. Recently, I was reminded of my favorite fall smells as I took in our entire line of new fall scents!
For me, it’s always the smell of someone burning leaves in their back yard, or building a fire at night to keep the kids warm while they roast marshmallows for S’mores. The scent of cinnamon in baking pies and candles as the holidays start to draw nearer and nearer, or the spicy/sweet of the pumpkin patch and the pies they inevitably end up baked in.
The smell of ripe orchards with apples for the hand-picking was a strong part of my childhood, as well as those fireplace fires that chased out the damp. But if you find yourself, say, cramped in a little apartment in the city and craving some of those traditional fall scents, indulge in nostalgia with a warm home fragrance oil. Smells like American Pumpkin will help bring you back, without having to make the long trip out to the nearest pumpkin patch!
If you’re looking to invite the sweet smells of fall indoors, check out these creative and delicious new scents we created just for the season: Mexican Cocoa, African Red Tea, Indian Fig, Mulled Berries, Pecan and Chestnut, and Nutmeg and Vanilla.
