Great news from Canada

Last autumn, The Body Shop in Canada along with their NGO partner Beyond Borders, The Somaly Mam Foundation and customers, presented more than 570,000 Stop Sex Trafficking Petitions signed by Canadians to their Federal Public Safety Minister Vic Toews at an in-store event at our Rideau Centre location in Ottawa. We are therefore delighted to share with you that Public Safety Minister Vic Toews has now committed $25 Million over the next 4 years to fund a national plan to fight human trafficking. Now that’s a result we like! :)
