A Natural Solution for Insomnia

It’s no secret that times are stressful. The economy seems perilous, and people are worrying so heavily that it is affecting the length and quality of their sleep. As a matter of fact, according to research done by The Body Shop, 38% of people in the US report that, thanks to their economic woes, they are getting less sleep.

According to The Body Shop’s US Sleep Survey, 28% of people are getting one hour less of sleep each night due to anxiety, with men being affected more significantly than women. Nearly one in eight people are losing at least two hours a night. In a month, you’d be shortchanging yourself at least 56 hours of sleep, and that’s a lot of lost shut-eye!

Because we don’t have any control over the global economy (even if we’d like to!), we have to find other ways of helping to relieve our anxiety and get those crucial hours of recharging sleep. Sleep significantly affects the quality of our work. Not to mention that people become snappy with their partners, and less patient with strangers, creating an all-around less hospitable social climate. No thanks!

Since all of these sleepless nights have been plaguing the country, we’ve noticed something that seems to be working for our customers: our Deep Sleep Dreamy Pillow & Body Mist. We’ve seen a massive uptick in sales for our most popular natural cure for insomnia in the recent months. It’s a very simple concept that we are thrilled to see is becoming an effective solution for even the most deprived of insomniacs.

Just spray the mist all over your sheets, blankets, and pillow, and a special encapsulation technology allows bursts of fragrance when your body moves around throughout the night. The Deep Sleep Mist contains Jujube date, Community Trade chamomile, Geranium, juniper, and patchouli oils, each known for their soothing qualities that aid in relaxation. Our Community Trade chamomile was selected because chamomile acts as a natural central nervous system depressant, meaning it’s a mild tranquilizer with thousands of years of proven effectiveness.

There are other time-tested methods for helping you to relax. Remember when your mom used to make you warm milk to help you sleep? Well, our survey says that’s still a favorite way for people to relax themselves at night, along with a warm, milky bath. Guess mom knew a little something about helping you sleep tight after all!
