Fall Hair Color Trends
One of my favorite things about the shifting of seasons is that you get to reinvent your look. Maybe you were a bronzed goddess throughout the summer, but when fall rolls around, it’s easy to deepen your look and become the sultry sophisticate.
Changing the shade of your hair is a relatively simple step that can go a long way in transforming your look, just be sure to lengthen the life of your shade with a color protecting shampoo. If you’re ready to make the change, but can’t quite decide which way to go, then take a look at some of the hair color trends that are heating up for autumn.
- The new fall trend for blonde locks is a French technique known as “balayage.” It’s a process that gives natural, beachy blonde highlights that are concentrated around the face and darker in the back. It’s the same look that you’d get if you’d spent the summer lifeguarding, only without all of the harmful sun damage!
- Take heart, brunettes, fall is the season for you! Trends for brunettes this fall are goldeny browns and ambers. True, rich colors are in, so you can leave the obvious lowlights and highlights behind, and just be your true blue brunette self.
- Of course, we can’t leave the men folk out! Fall looks for men’s hair color are bold this year, so it takes a brave, fashion-forward soul to pull them off. Obvious blonde, as in borderline platinum locks were sweeping the runway for the gentleman, so dial up the peroxide if you dare! Just make sure to keep the style neat and tidy with some fixing gel to better showcase the color.
