- What’s in Your Makeup Bag? – Is your makeup bag overstuffed with things you have collected but no longer use? Felicia over at ThisThatBeauty dumps out the contents of her brimming satchel for all to see. She’s got the essentials covered, but surely this bag itself could use a makeover. Leave her a comment and air out your own makeup bag demons.
- 13 DIY At-Home Spa Tricks – Glamour.com brings us this fantastic list of things you can do right at home to treat yourself to a spa day. You can use things you find around the house to pamper yourself properly. My favorite? Creating an exfoliating scrub using only brown sugar, raw oatmeal, and olive oil.
- Go Red this Holiday – eBeautyDaily reports that red is a “must-have” this season, according to a poll commissioned by Target. Read the post for all the stats, but one interesting find was that Almost 40 percent of women who wear red lipstick put on the touch of rouge to feel feminine, while 37 percent do so to feel sexy. Sexy or feminine: either way, red is in!
- Sensitive Skincare Ingredients – The blog Skin Care and Beauty provides a fantastic list of ingredients found in skin care products that are good for sensitive skin. These can be found in many products, and are mostly natural ingredients, to boot. Things like licorice and horse chestnuts are examples of things that are great for sensitive skin.
- Beauty Damage Control – This SheKnows.com article gives some awesome tips and quick fixes for beauty disasters. Been up all night studying? Take a shower, first and foremost, but don’t forget to use a thin layer of concealer to cover up those dark circles under your eyes.
