Thanks to everyone for your input, it really helps make this blog better!

@Ginger & Dani - I hope that you will visit in the next few weeks because we are working on a tutorial for a more natural look that you can definitely wear to the office, and we hope to do more in the future. Please keep the comments flowing!

Ok, so this look may be appropriate for some people's evening outings, but what I'd really like to see is a tutorial for office-appropriate application because I'd like to have sultry-work eyes too!

I agree with T with Honey. I'd love to see more posts like this of a how-to nature on how to recreate a look--a make-up tutorial with Body Shop products.

In particular, I think more of us are looking for how to create a "natural" look. I've heard conflicting info on whether you put blush on the apples of your cheeks to bring attention to them or under your cheeks' contours to give the illusion of greater definition/structure.

Also, there are probably at least 5 ways to do one's eye makeup right...and I know none of 'em.

That look is HORRIBLE. That is HIDEOUS. I mean, it looked fab up to step 3. But step 4 killed the whole thing. That was terrible. Maybe you should hire me and i'll show u how it is really done

FYI, T with Honey & all others.
You can use these same colors, in the same fashion, without dampening the brushes to achieve a more tone downed look. (I have dry skin & could NEVER achieve these vibrant colors without wetting my brush first, the colors are never this dramatic dry) Or try the same colors without the "cat eye" affect. Follow the same steps without the slated brush pointers. And remember you can aways smudge the edges of the purple haze colors for a less harsh appearance.
Also, these steps are always on hand at stores. They have always sent these steps in a phamplet to my local Body Shop, but if you only shop on line, you might have missed out.

I've got to admit that this bold of a look is definitely not for me. It really is a 'special occasion' type of look plus I think my husband would laugh himself into a hernia if I tried to wear this.

However... this tutorial is AWESOME!!!! I'd love to see more posts like this on The Body Shop blog! For once I know exactly how to obtain a particular look and one way of using your new colors - even if it isn't necessarily something I would consider wearing. Keep them coming!!!!
