5 Foods for Beautiful Hair and Skin
It’s no secret that food related ingredients are often found in some great beauty products, but what foods can you eat to stay naturally beautiful? What you ingest can make a huge difference when it comes to the health of your hair, skin, nails and more importantly, your overall wellbeing. The Body Shop has found some amazing foods that can really help when it comes to being beautiful from the inside out.
• Carrots – Not only are these crunchy roots delicious and nutritious, they are also filled with Vitamin A that can help promote healthy skin and scalp. Vitamin A makes for shiny and gorgeous hair, and the Beta-Carotene found in carrots can protect your skin against harmful UV-rays. If you prefer, carrots also make a great tasting juice full of Vitamin C, which can helpa prevent collagen formation.
• Garlic – You might think of garlic as a food that will only turn people away, but it has some wonderful attributes when it comes to staying beautiful. Garlic is full of surprising benefits, including staving away bacteria and heart disease. It can also help fight infections, such as unsightly cold sores.
• Salmon – This delicious fish is a great source of protein and Omega-3 oil, which are both great for your skin. The fatty acids found in Salmon can help you be less prone to wrinkles, and lead to the production of keratin and melanin. One blogger even claims that a steady diet of salmon actually made her skin glow. Now there’s a reason to start having lox in the morning.
• Walnuts – Another food that is great for your blood and the immune system, walnuts are chock full of Vitamin C. These hard-shelled nuts also contain linoleic acid, which helps to help keep skin hydrated. Walnuts also contain zinc and Vitamin E, two other amazing skin beneficiaries.
• Water – While you might not think that water qualifies as a food, it’s just as essential in the health of your hair and skin for you to risk not getting enough of it. In order for your skin to look its best, it has to stay hydrated. Drinks like coffee and soda can actually dehydrate you, so make up for it by drinking lots of water. Water can flush out harmful toxins, too, so there is really no reason not to drink it.
These are just five of the myriad foods you can eat to keep your skin and hair healthy and beautiful, but don’t forget that beauty comes from how you feel about how you look, too. Eat and drink in moderation, and remember that a little exercise and can go a long way in helping your body look and feel its best.

Honey is rich and tasty and it is a wonderfulbeauty product with ant bacterial qualities and therefore it is excellent to be taken as food supplement for inner beauty and may also be used in skin /hair masks.
Mustard oil is very usefulfor strengthening hair and is very effective for relaxing massage,it also tans the skin colour if required,to be used frequently.
